There is a comfortable sitting-room for guest use and each room has its own TV and tea/coffee-making facilities. The accommodation is warm and comfortable and guests can relax in the peaceful atmosphere.
We have had so many compliments about our meals it would be difficult to list them all. Breakfasts are very generous, and cooked freshly to order (vegetarians or special diets are no problem). We now have a table licence and keep a small selection of wine, beer and lager.
Evening meals are 3 courses and we take pride in presenting wholesome freshly-cooked food using local organic fresh produce (we have our own chickens and grow most of our own vegetables).
Walkers and cyclists can benefit from our luggage-forwarding service and we can pick up guests from local public transport. We are keen walkers ourselves and feel able to understand the needs of our guests.
- The building dates back to approximately 1760
- We have proved a very popular choice for families
- We welcome children and even the family pet.
We are proud to heat and power our building using renewable energy.
