Both are fully furnished and very comfortable, with fitted carpets, full gas central heating and include electric cooker, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, TV, radio/clock, CD/ DVD player, hairdryer and pine furniture. The accommodation upstairs comprises one double and one twin-bedded room (with an additional bed on the ground floor), WC and shower room also on the ground floor is a lounge/kitchen and separate dining room (in the Stable) and a dining room/kitchen and separate lounge (in the Bothy). Downstairs cloakroom in both cottages. Guests are welcome to bring their own linen or hire. Heating, lighting and cooking costs included in the rental. Children and also pets welcome.
The cottages offer an excellent base to visit Hadrian's Wall and other attractions in Northumbria such as Beamish Museum, Border Castles, the Newcastle/Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Baltic Arts Centre, Sage Music Centre and the Metro Centre shopping complex. Easy access to the A69, A68 and Newcastle airport and the Royal Quays docks.
Both cottages are supervised by the owners who live on site.
