Within 45 minutes of the Northern Lakes and as part of the beautiful Solway Coast AONB with its nature reserves and RSPB reserve at Campfield Marsh, Bowness on Solway is a perfect base for a short break. The village is on the NCN Route 72 and is surrounded by excellent cycling and walking landscapes.
A range of services are available for guests at Wallsend Guest House, including long stay car parking for walkers, electric vehicle charging point, free WiFi, packed lunches, secure cycle storage/electric bike charging and laundry/drying facilities.
Your pets will be made very welcome, with bedding, supper and treats provided for a charge of £5 per night. Our garden has a separate dog exercise area, and there are plenty of good walks locally. As well as our pets, the garden is a haven for a variety of wild birds including resident owls.
Wallsend Tea Room (open daily Easter to October) and Wallsend Wigwams ® are also on site.
