A beautiful converted barn which forms part of the traditional farm courtyard. Many of the original features are retained which add to the character of the cottage. It has a private garden with patio and ample parking is available. Inside there is oil central heating and a cosy open fire. The kitchen is well equipped, with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge microwave and electric cooker. Downstairs is open plan, the entertainment centre includes TV video, CD, DVD and radio. Upstairs the bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed. The en suite bathroom is fitted with bath, shower, sink and WC.
Set in beautiful, rugged Northumbrian countryside, close to Hadrian's Wall, it abounds with wildlife. The peaceful setting is ideal for walking or it can be used as a superb base for discovering Northumbria, the Scottish Borders and the Lake District.
