Situated directly on the Hadrian’s Wall Path National Trail and Route 72 of the Hadrian's Cycleway. We offer ‘Walk & Stay’ near to the great border city of Carlisle overlooking the Solway Firth.


Here at Highfield we offer a great base to explore Cumbria and walk Hadrian’s Wall.


Whether it be historians walking the Wall or Cycling along the 'Hadrian's Cycleway' Route 72 or Horseback riding, Highfield Farm has something to offer everyone. Walkers staying more than one night qualify for free shuttle service.

Breakfast is served in the guests' dining room overlooking the Solway Firth. Julie uses only the best local and home grown ingredients. She prides herself on providing a varied choice of continental and Cumbrian Farmhouse breakfasts. Our farm reared bacon and Cumberland sausage have been awarded with the Kellogg’s Visit England Breakfast Award.
