Here at Highfield we offer a great base to explore Cumbria and walk Hadrian’s Wall.
Whether it be historians walking the Wall or Cycling along the 'Hadrian's Cycleway' Route 72 or Horseback riding, Highfield Farm has something to offer everyone. Walkers staying more than one night qualify for free shuttle service.
Martin and Julie offer a warm Cumbrian welcome to our guests, all of whom enjoy the breathtaking landscape, the hospitality and that very special feeling that comes with a truly relaxing home. Whatever time of year you choose to visit and whatever you want to enjoy whilst on holiday, Highfield Farm has lots to offer and you can look forward to a very pleasant stay.
Experience an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty or visit the Lake District and its surrounding areas. Get away from it all, relax and unwind up close and personal to the varied birds, farm animals and wildlife.
Highfield Farm offers en-suite beautifully spacious and comfortably appointed double/twin or family rooms. With either a shower room or luxurious spa bathroom tastefully furnished to the very highest of standards. Sit back in the dressing lounge and enjoy magnificent views and sunsets over the Solway Firth.
Breakfast is served in the guests' dining room overlooking the Solway Firth. Julie uses only the best local and home grown ingredients. She prides herself on providing a varied choice of continental and Cumbrian Farmhouse breakfasts. Our farm reared bacon and Cumberland sausage have been awarded with the Kellogg’s Visit England Breakfast Award.
