4th Hadrian's Wall Annual Conference

The Fourth Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site Annual Conference, organised by the Hadrian’s Wall Trust on behalf of the Wall’s Management Plan Committee, takes place on Friday 18 October at the Beaumont Hotel, Hexham.

Bringing together partner organisations, landowners, heritage and environment experts and local businesses, in fact, all those with an interest in the World Heritage Site, it is a great opportunity to meet, exchange views and discuss current and planned work across the frontier.

Speakers include not only representatives from sites around Hadrian’s Wall, but also Scotland’s Antonine Wall and the German Limes, which together currently make up the transnational Frontiers of the Roman Empire World Heritage Site. Sonia Jilek, from the Danube Roman frontier, a soon to be member of the Frontiers, will also be speaking.
